This is an interesting article…mostly for the first two paragraphs.

I think the biggest problem facing SMBs is the cost of a website and that funny feeling that you might not be getting your money’s worth.

Do all businesses need a website? Maybe not. Do all businesses that have a website need one that works, looks great, and is easy to maintain. Yes. Definitely.

Luckly there are more and more options out there for companies. Blog-powered websites are only one, but one that could be a solution for a lot of folks.

_I am often asked by small to medium sized business owners whether having a professional website is really a necessity for their company. After giving it some thought, here is the best answer I can come up with:

It is no more necessary than to shine your shoes before going to a wedding, or brushing your teeth before a date, or making sure you do not douse yourself with the cheap stuff, before you head into that important business meeting._
