From Robin Good: Review of BlogCatalog

Robin Good has done a quick review of a new blog directory called BlogCatalog. The directory is in its early days, but I’ll be submitting this blog as soon as I move it to its new URL (I’m switching over to Blogware very soon).

Robin’s review quotes that it is growing in popularity as a place to submit your site and be found.

I made a quick visit to the site and the layout is nice. The left colunm has popular has highest rated blogs and from the search page you can see recent searches. They have already developed nice buttons that you can place on your site.
Doesn’t seem to you that blog buttons are like the early web page buttons of six years ago? Everyone had them, collected them like hat pins or something. Anyway I don’t mind them because they do help to promote indices and directories as this medium become more popular and mainstream.
