CMS should be easy

Shhh! We don’t want people to catch on to this! How are consultants going to make money! Of course I’m joking, and this should be true. Good CMS shouldn’t be painful to set up, nor should it take long.

CMS also should be:

Search engine friendly (if on a website)

Added to a website early instead of trying to shoe horn it in later

Now, broadly defined, blogs are really CMS systems. And they can be very easy to set up. Internally as well as externally. Just takes a good sys admin and a little time.
