Apple's RSS Embrace Could Bolster Adoption

This is an exciting development, but as the article continues, MS is still the holdout with no native support for IE. Now this concerns me because it seems that whenever MS finally decides to jump on a bandwagon they hijack it and we’re all drawn down a different path. I’d really hate for webfeeds to be hijacked by MS. Oh, I’m sure they’ll tempt us with nice features we think we’ll like and want, but in the end I think we’ll only be worse off in the long-run.

With Safari RSS, Apple has become the latest browser maker to support XML syndication and attempt to simplify feed reading.
